Questions
Privacy and data
How does TimeMind protect my privacy?
Tasks and preferences are stored on your device by default. Only when you agree and use an AI feature (voice task creation, photo analysis, AI chat) is the task text, voice transcript, or photo you submit sent to cloud AI (DeepSeek, Google Gemini) for processing; on iPhone, recordings are transcribed on your device and never uploaded. Android uses your phone’s speech service first; only if your phone has none and you agree is a recording sent to Tencent Cloud for transcription, and TimeMind doesn’t keep it. If you subscribe to Pro and turn on cloud sync, tasks are stored encrypted on our servers (Supabase). We don’t sell data or track you for ads.
The full Privacy Policy is currently available in Chinese.
Can I use multiple accounts?
Yes. Each account’s tasks and preferences are isolated. Sign out and back in to switch without any cross-contamination.
Will I lose data if I sign out?
No. Signing out only ends the current session — your data stays on the device. Sign in again to restore everything.
Is my password safe? What if I forget it?
Passwords are stored as a one-way hash by our account service (Supabase Auth), so TimeMind never sees your password, and everything is sent over HTTPS. New passwords need at least 8 characters with 3 of these: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, symbols.
Forgot it? Tap “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen and enter your email — we’ll send a 6-digit code so you can set a new password. Accounts that use Apple or Google sign-in don’t need a password.
Tasks and scheduling
Which languages does voice input support?
Voice input uses Apple’s on-device speech recognition. Supported languages depend on your iOS version and device and include Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, and many more. On Android, TimeMind uses your phone’s speech recognition service, so supported languages depend on your phone. In Settings → Voice & AI Language, choose the recognition language and the language AI uses to write your tasks.
What’s the difference between one-time and recurring tasks?
A one-time task happens once, with its own date and deadline. A recurring task repeats on the rule you choose — daily, weekly (on the days you pick), monthly, or yearly — with a reminder each time. When you edit or delete a recurring task, you can apply the change to just that one, this and future ones, or all of them.
Account and subscription
Do I need an account?
No. You can start right away in guest mode — your tasks stay on this device. If you sign in or create an account later, your guest tasks move to that account. Subscribe to Pro and turn on cloud sync to get your tasks back on a new phone.
Is TimeMind free?
Yes, you can use TimeMind for free. Creating and managing tasks, reminders, and recurring tasks cost nothing, and the free plan includes 50 voice task creations and 5 photo analyses each month. Upgrade to TimeMind Pro (subscription or one-time purchase) for 1,000 voice task creations and 100 photo analyses a month, plus cloud sync.
How do I restore my purchase?
Sign in to your TimeMind account, go to Settings → Subscription & Billing → Manage Subscription, and tap “Restore Purchases”. On iPhone and iPad, use the Apple ID you paid with. On Android, Pro from a redeem code is tied to your account — sign in to the same account and tap “Restore Purchases” to reload it.
How do I cancel a subscription or get a refund?
Apple handles App Store purchases. Cancel in your App Store subscriptions; request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. TimeMind can’t issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Paddle weekly, monthly and yearly plans renew automatically. Cancel using the customer portal linked from your subscription confirmation email, or visit Paddle buyer support to request cancellation or a refund. Access remains through the paid period after cancellation. Canceling does not automatically refund a payment; the refund policy applies.
WeChat redeem codes and Paddle lifetime plans are one-time purchases without automatic renewal. Contact the developer on WeChat or by email for WeChat payment or code issues.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: at the bottom of Settings, tap “Delete Account & Data”. Once you confirm, your account, cloud data, and the data on this device are deleted; for accounts that use Sign in with Apple, TimeMind’s access is revoked too. Deleted tasks and account data can’t be recovered.
By email: if you can’t open the app, email eric126616077@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and the email address you signed up or signed in with. We’ll verify the account and process it within 3–5 business days.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel subscriptions — first cancel in your App Store subscriptions or in the Paddle customer portal linked from your subscription confirmation email. On Android, Pro from a redeem code is tied to your account, so any remaining time is lost and can’t be transferred when you delete the account.
Troubleshooting
How do I install or update TimeMind on Android?
The available installer is Android 1.3.0 (build 11), including home screen widgets, a persistent countdown notification, phone calendar sync, app shortcuts, and Pro redeem codes paid for with WeChat.
Open timemind.app in your phone’s browser, tap “Download Android APK”, then open the downloaded file. The first time, your phone asks whether to allow your browser to install apps — allow it to continue. Requires Android 7.0 or later.
When a new version is out, the app reminds you. Download and install it the same way; your tasks and account stay as they are. TimeMind for Android is available only from this site for now, so please don’t download it anywhere else.
Why aren’t I getting notifications?
Check in order:
- Your phone allows TimeMind to send notifications (iOS: Settings → Notifications → TimeMind → Allow Notifications; Android: Settings → Apps → TimeMind → Notifications).
- The Notifications toggle in TimeMind’s Settings is on.
- Do Not Disturb or a Focus isn’t on.
- Android: battery saver or battery optimization can delay reminders. Set TimeMind to Unrestricted in Settings → Apps → TimeMind → Battery.

How do I report a bug or share feedback?
In the app, go to Settings → Help & Feedback and tap “Report a bug”, or email eric126616077@gmail.com. Screenshots, the steps that led to it, and your phone model help us fix it faster.
